WATER QUALITY MANAGER

The City of Vacaville is seeking an experienced utilities supervisor to fill the position of Water Quality Manager.

The Water Quality Manager is a key leadership position within the City of Vacaville Utilities Department. The incumbent will be responsible for planning and directing the activities of the Water Quality section including the environmental laboratory, water quality and wastewater discharge, storm water monitoring and controls, industrial pretreatment, cross-connection control and reporting. The incumbent will also coordinate the Department’s regulatory compliance programs as it relates to Water Quality.

Requirements include four years of increasingly responsible environmental compliance experience, including two years in a supervisory role, in the field of water or wastewater management. Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related science discipline is required. The salary range for this position is $95,371-$115,916 annually plus an excellent benefit package.

The City of Stockton Municipal Utilities Dept. is accepting apps for the position of Plant Operations Supervisor. This position will be responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluate operational process changes; coordinates laboratory and operations activities; performs related work as assigned.

This is a supervisory level in the wastewater plant operations series, providing expert technical guidance in a specified plant process area. Requires HS Diploma/GED, 2 years lead experience, Grade IV Certificate, and CDL.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF UTILITIES

The City of Vacaville is seeking an experienced utilities engineering manager to fill the newly created position of Assistant Director of Utilities. The Utilities Department is comprised of 70 full time positions, with an annual operating budget of $35 million, and a CIP budget of $25 million. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, administrative, technical and communication skills and will have project oversight of our $150 million tertiary project that is currently in pre-design. Requirements include five years of increasingly responsible civil engineering experience, including two years as a manager, in the field of water or wastewater management. Possession of appropriate degrees and certificates, including a certificate of registration as a Professional Civil Engineer in the State of California, is required. The salary range for this position is $135,063-$164,153 annually plus an excellent benefit package.
