History of CVCWA

The Central Valley Wastewater Managers Association (CVWMA) was an organization with members from throughout the Central Valley since 1987.  The members were predominantly wastewater agencies with some consultants.  Since its formation, the members had largely served as a group to share information on wastewater treatment issues.

In recent years, the members started to become more proactive by providing comments on regulatory proceedings and sponsoring conferences that targeted audiences outside of the membership.

Therefore, it became apparent that the group needed to change and take a more prominent and proactive role in regulatory proceedings that affect wastewater agencies.

So the CVWMA is now the Central Valley Clean Water Association, (CVCWA).
