At the top center of the page
are two rows of buttons. Click the "Register" button.

Review the Forum Rules and
Policies and, if you agree to comply with them, Click the "Accept"
button.

Fill out the registration form.
At a minimum, fill in the required fields which are marked with an
asterisk (*).

Your username should consist of
your first initial and last name.

You are required to enter an
email address. This address will be used by CVCWA to verify that you
are a member before activating your account. One of the
following must be true:

The email address must
match one that you provided to CVCWA when you became a member.

The "domain" part of the
email address (for example: saccounty.net) must match a member
agency or affiliate domain name on record.

You must enter the special
security code shown in the image. This is a protective measure
against hackers. If you can't read the code, click the link to
load a new code.

Please also enter your real
name and occupation / agency name so that other members know who you
are. Feel free to create a signature as well, which will show
up at the bottom of all your posts.

Make sure to set your email
preferences at the bottom of the registration forum. You may
either designate that your receive an email notification every time
someone replies to a post you've made, or you may select "no" here
and then manually activate email notification on a post-by-post
basis. You can change this at any time.

Click "Register". This
will notify the Outreach Committee Chairperson that you are
requesting a forum account. If the chairperson can verify your
membership, he will activate your account. If he cannot, he
will contact you by email. This will usually occur in 1 to 2
business days.

When you register you
are required to give a small amount of information, much of which is
optional, anything you do give must be considered as becoming public
information.
The forum is available
to employees of member agencies and affiliates and CVCWA officers
only. Guests are not authorized to use or view the contents of the
forum. CVCWA will make every effort to protect the forum against
unauthorized access, but cannot guarantee that unauthorized access
to the forum and/or distribution of forum contents will not occur.
Therefore, members are strongly cautioned to avoid posting
information that is considered confidential or proprietary, and
avoid stating opinions that you would not want to become public
information.
You agree not to use
this forum to post any material which is vulgar, defamatory,
inaccurate, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others
privacy, sexually oriented, or violates any laws. You also agree
that you will not post any copyrighted material that is not owned by
yourself or the owners of these forums. You agree not to create a
false identity for the purpose of misleading others.
You agree not to post
advertisements for products or services except in topics
specifically designated for that purpose, and in that case, only
those products or services relevant to the wastewater industry.
CVCWA reserves the
right to revoke member access privileges at any time at its sole
discretion, and will do so in response to abuse of this forum and
violation of these policies.
You remain solely
responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to
indemnify and hold harmless this forum and their agents with respect
to any claim based upon any post you may make. We also reserve the
right to reveal whatever information we know about you in the event
of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by
yourself.
